It has been revealed that Australian model-turned-actor Tabrett Bethell has joined the cast of Yash Raj’s action thriller film Dhoom 3.

Tabrett Bethell is making her Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3. Dhoom 3 star Uday Chopra wrote on Twitter, “Please welcome the lovely Tabrett Bethell who joins the cast of ‘Dhoom 3′ today.
Tabrett Betell was a cheerleader for the Australian rugby league team Cronulla Sharks and was also associated with Chadwick Model Agency. She later started acting in 2008 with TV series Legend of the Seeker and then starred in small screen thriller The Clinic. She was also seen in movies such as Strangers Lovers Killers and Anyone You Want.

Dhoom 3 is the third film of the successful Dhoom franchise. The movie stars Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. It also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, who were also there in the first two films.

Vidya Balan’s Kahaani 2 Shooting Starts in 2013 | Vidya Balan’s Kahaani 2 Movie Release Date

Filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh will start shooting for the sequel to his successful thriller ‘Kahaani’ next year with Vidya Balan in the lead role. Ghosh told IANS: “The film will definitely go on the floors by next year… The film is in its scripting stage. I have just started writing it so we have a long way to go.

The 46-year-old said all the characters will be the same in the sequel and added: “Of course, we will have Vidya Balan in the film and rest of the characters will also be the same.The original was filmed in Kolkata, but the location for “Kahaani 2″ has not been finalised yet.

Location has not been decided as such but quite a bit of the film will be shot in Kolkata for sure. We are taking forward the same characters so let’s see how it shapes up,” said the director.

Released March 9, Ghosh hit the bull’s eye with ‘Kahaani’. Made on a budget of Rs.8 crore, the film reportedly grossed about Rs.104 crore worldwide within 50 days of its release.

Producer Akshay Kumar’s ‘Oh My God’ is based on a Gujrati play ‘Kanji Virrudh Kanji’. It has also taken elements from Paresh Rawal’s Hindi play ‘Krishna vs Kanhaiya’. The film is refreshing in its approach and has featured a new idea. However, this is not the only reason to watch the film.
1. Central idea: Kanji Bhai becomes a complete non-believer after a mishap. He decides to demand compensation from the god in order to run his family. Basically, he becomes a party in a court battle against the god. Even the court doesn’t know what to do with his claims.
2. Paresh Rawal: Though the film is based on his play, still he was needed to enact Kanji Bhai with all his innocence on screen. The actor does it effortlessly. He holds the entire film together without being overshadowed by the presence of a big star like Akshay.
3. Mithun Chakraborty: He is in a never seen before kind of a role. Not everyone had expected Mithun to play such a layered character in ‘Oh My God’. He evokes laughter and repulsion at the same time. His body language speaks of his vast experience as an actor. Whenever he is on screen, you don’t need to see anywhere else for entertainment.
4. Akshay Kumar and his little Krishna quirks: He rides a heavy bike, talks about uploading photos on Facebook and wears wooden slippers. Akshay actually looks cool, calm and composed in the film. He is stylish, suave and naughty. His witty reactions to one liners are a treat to watch in the film.
5. Art direction: Set designers have taken care of small details. Modern day Krishna swirls key ring in place of ‘chakra’, Paresh Rawal’s idol rests on a scooter model, and the god has a number plate with ‘Om’ written on it.
6. Writer’s smartness: Bhavesh Mandalia and Umesh Shukla have created some scintillating moments with the help of their writing. Court room scenes form a major chunk of the film, and none of these scenes look dull. The dialogue given to Paresh Rawal are so apt that one easily gets engrossed in the film.
7. Prabhudeva’s dancing: His dancing doesn’t need any introduction. Though Sonakshi Sinha looked in difficulty while matching steps with Prabhudeva, still ‘Go go Govinda’ emerges as a foot tapping number.

'Oh My God' Poor Openings at Box Office | Oh My God Movie 1st Day Box Office Collections and Shares

Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal starrer OMG Oh My God! has opened to a poor response at the Box Office in India. Although the movie has better collection than its rival Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal (KDM), it is not up to the expected mark. With this, the two new releases are giving a way to old releases like Heroine and Barfi to rock again at the collection centres this week too.
