Dance master cum director, Raghava Lawrence's latest venture 'Rebel' got a mixed response on day one. More than the rocking openings, the film stood in news for its 'paithyam'. But audiences are saved in one way.

Overdose of mass dialogues, horrible comedy scenes and illogical sentiment have made 'Rebel' a headache to many people, while fans are enjoying it. Lawrence has used as much paithyam as he can use to test the patience of audience. But unlike all his movies, where he irritates people with his very own presence on silver sceen, Lawrence has not let out the actor in him this time. Luckily, not even in a song, the talented choreographer has given an appearance saving the audience from getting bored.
