madhurima says she likes naughty roles

Madhurima Banerjee, who made her filmi debut in Tollywood with Aa Okkadu in 2009, is making her debut in to Bollywood with Dhamaal Malamaal, directed by none other than Priyadarshan, is releasing this month end.

In Telugu, Madhurima is playing the female lead in Shadow opposite Srikanth and she has also completed Mahankali with Rajasekhar. Ask her about her long absence in Tollywood and she says, "I don't know why, but I am always offered those traditional 'good girl' roles. I am tired of essaying these cliched characters. I would like to do something different." Apart for a Telugu film, Madhurima has also completed a Malayalam film Black Coffee, in which she plays a Malayali living in Mumbai.
