Rajamouli turning ‘Aparichitudu’

Darsakadheera Rajamouli who never tasted failure in his profession until he tried expanding his horizons to become film maker with ‘Anadala Rakshasi’ seems to be turning ‘Aparichitudu’. It is known that after Anadala Rakashi’s not so encouraging response Rajamouli went to Goa for a vacation and till now he was non committal about his new projects. Though there were speculations about him directing Super Star Rajanikanth or Surya or Natasimha Balakrishna he brushed off all those rumors. Buzz is that he is currently busy with his upcoming historical venture on Telangana Kings which will feature Prabhas as hero.

However there is a feeling that Rajamouli is turning ‘Aparichidutu’. No one needs introduction to the character or role enacted by Vikram in this psychological thriller where a weak and meek Ramanujam fights corruption turning strong Aparichitudu. Rajamouli gave call to youth to fight corruption, while lending his support to ‘Surajyam’ movement initiated by Jai Prakash Narayan of Loksatta Party. Rajamouli while encouraging youth tweeted "We al know corruption is the largest issue plaguing India's growth in all fronts. Please join the Surajyam movement by making short films, skits, slogans etc against corruption and send them for competition,".

Surajyam encourages writers, poets, artists, lyricists etc to raise awareness against corruption by making films, poems, skits etc. Rajamouli has been a vocal supporter of anti-corruption movement and he has been spotted quite a few times sharing the dias with leaders like Jayprakash Narayan of Lok Satta Party. Rajamouli is also a supporter of Vaada, an NGO which works towards improvement of traffic scenario in Hyderabad. It has to be seen how successful will ‘Aparichitudu’ Rajamouli in uprooting corruption.
