Taking
inspiration from a scene or movie to make something better than that is
what creative people always advise. But who cares that and at least in
Tollywood no one is bothered even if a scene is filmed as it is like its
original.
If
talented director Karunakaran copies a single scene from a foreign
movie for a single time, his movies and song montages are copied umpteen
times in Tollywood by numerous directors. We hear that a couple of
upcoming movies took songs like 'Ne Manasee' from Toli Prema and
montages of Venkatesh's 'Vasu' movie as a reference and are shooting
same kind of stuff . Off course, we have seen many such copies all these
days, but one would wonder why only Karunakaran's flicks when it comes
to love stories.
Critics
say that Tollywood got connected to particular guys for particular
stuff, say Rajamouli for fights, Puri for dialogues, Vaitla for comedy
and Karunakaran for Love. And the bottom-line is that they take years to
disassociate from them. So, the copy and copied always exist!
