Nagarjuna Beats Allari Naresh At USA Box Office

Akkineni Nagarjuna’s latest movie Shirdi Sai has opened to a good response at the USA Box Office. The devotional film has beaten the collection record of Allari Naresh’s Sudigadu at the business centres in the country in the first weekend of its release. It has surely set a new record in the USA market.
Shirdi Sai, which has been directed by K Raghavendra Rao, was released in America on Wednesday (September 5). Since it was screened at a limited number of cinema halls, its collection was low on the first two days. The movie, which features Nagarjuna as Sai Baba, collected Rs 1,280,699 lakhs ($23,140) at the USA Box Office on Wednesday and Thursday together.
The movie witnessed a big jump in its business on Friday with the increase in its screen number in the country. Shirdi Sai managed to get more than 100% growth in its collection.
Its business improved further on the following days. The movie raked in Rs 3,133,610 lakhs ($56,646) on Saturday.
However, the movie has collected Rs 6,304,476 in four days and the fifth day figures are yet to be revealed. Trade analysts say that the Sunday figures of Shirdi Sai are even bigger than that of Saturday. Including this, the film would surely cross the collection mark of Sudigadu, which had collected Rs 69.83 lakhs ($125,484) at the USA Box Office in its opening weekend.
